Our Story

Monarch Trail Soap Co. is located in Central Texas, along one of the most prominent annual monarch migration routes in the U.S. Our handcrafted products were created out of the necessity and passion for clean body care, without hidden and harmful ingredients. We are proud to create products we can stand behind and not only feel good about using ourselves but sharing with others. 

Years ago, after being diagnosed with a common auto-immune disorder, we learned that many products were being marketed as "natural" but still made with hidden ingredients and synthetic fragrances, that have been shown in studies to cause health issues. We quickly realized that after researching and handcrafting truly natural and clean products, there was major difference in our skin and overall health. 

No toxins, synthetic fragrances or colorants, micas (synthetic or natural), preservatives or palm oil are used to make our products, ever.

When we aren't creating in the studio, you can usually find us outdoors, hiking and enjoying nature. Our name is an ode to the monarch butterfly, embracing the beauty of change and transformation into new beginnings, along with the hiking trails and landscapes we love. 

We are a faith-based small business, so finding a way to serve others with the knowledge we have gained and the natural products we create is an important part of our mission. We have met so many of you who have chosen to share your stories with us and love being able to provide cleaner body care options for you and your family.
